Leona Lewis rips off Avicii!

  • Leona’s brand new track “Collide” had it’s world premiere today.. You might recognize the Avicii “Penguin” sample in the background. From the tune of Avicii’s recent tweets, he doesn’t seem too happy about it!
  • Avicii says : To answer everyone the first time I heard Leona Lewis Collide was today. I didn’t produce it and neither me or my manager could approve it. To be clear I’m not taking credit for the melody (everything was cleared with penguin cafe orchestra and simon jeffes who wrote the song). I’m just upset for someone taking credit of our idea before I had a chance to release it. And for the time and effort that has been put into this by my manager and label.

 

Personally, I’m disgusted. Besides the fact that the song is. . well. . you be the judge.
